Meet Your Therapist

Kayla Szucs, LCSW - Practice Owner and Clinical Therapist

pronouns: she/her

Hello, I’m Kayla. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. I have worked in clinical settings since 2021, providing individual and family therapy through both my graduate training and continued work as a licensed therapist.

My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can feel understood, supported, and accepted without judgment. I value authenticity, self-awareness, and growth, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming, and respectful of each person’s lived experience. My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert of your own experience, and our work together is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Much of my work is with young adults and adults navigating identity, confidence, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions. This stage of life can bring a lot of change and uncertainty, and therapy can be a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gain clarity around what matters most to you.

My Approach

My work is rooted in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach and integrates several evidence-based modalities depending on your needs.

Get to Know Me

  • Close-up photo of a Bernese Mountain Dog with its tongue out, showing black, white, and brown fur, indoors with a beige wall and wooden furniture in the background.

I’m a big dog person and love spending time with my two pups.

  • A cup of latte with foam art on a white saucer, placed on a pink tabletop next to a large green leaf with white-striped pattern.

    I always have coffee nearby.

  • A living room corner with a beige sofa, striped pillow, standing lamp, and yellow curtains filtering sunlight.

At heart, I’m a homebody and really value quiet, cozy time at home to recharge.

  • A park scene with leafless trees, a walking path, and people enjoying the day. Two people are holding hands and walking on the path, while others sit on benches or walk in the background. The sky is clear and blue.

I love going on long walks to clear my head and catch up with people I care about.
